Meet Our Staff
Our staff is a team of dedicated, compassionate early childhood professionals who are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for every child. We believe in building strong relationships, encouraging curiosity, and supporting each child’s growth through play, learning, and positive guidance.

Center Director
Anna Tente
Ms. Anna has been working in the education field since 2006 and has been at Little Comets since its opening in 2019. She's taught children from infancy all the way to middle school and has been our center director since 2021. She has loved being able to grow with the company.
Ms. Anna has been married for over 10 years and they have a home filled with rescued furbabies. During her free time, she loves swimming, reading, crafting, and watching baseball and football.

Assistant Director
Savanah Berry
Ms. Savanah started as a lead 3 and 4-year-old teacher in 2018 at our previously owned center in Elkhorn. After having her daughter in 2020, she transferred to the Delavan location and became the assistant director in early 2023. Her favorite parts of the day are when she gets to sneak out of the office for some fun in the classroom and on the playground with the kiddos.

During Ms. Savanah's free time, you can usually find her outside, going on adventures with her daughter, Brynlee, and their dog, Dozer.

Lead Toddler Teacher
Ms. Jen
Ms. Jen has been our lead toddler teacher since our center opened in 2019. She has been an early childhood educator since graduating from Blackhawk Technical College in 2008. She has enjoyed working with all age groups, however, toddlers have her heart. She says her favorite part of her job is the endless smiles and giggles!

Lead Younger 2's Teacher
Ms. Faith
In 2022, Ms. Faith joined us part-time while finishing her last year of high school. After graduating and developing a love and passion for early childcare, she joined us full-time and became our lead younger 2's teacher!
She enjoys many outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, swimming, and fishing but her favorite is spending time with family, especially the newest addition, her sweet baby girl!

Lead Preschool Float & Support Staff
Ms. Lori
With over 20 years of experience working in childcare centers and her very own in-home daycare, we were delighted when Ms. Lori joined our team part-time in 2022. Ms. Lori is the lead float teacher for our preschool and school-age rooms and is also our lead staff trainer.​
When she is not teaching, she is likely spending time with her 3 adult children and her 4 grandchildren, whom she also cares for on the days she is not at LCLC.

Lead Older 2's Teacher
Ms. Lexi
Being the oldest of 5 and now a mama to 1, Ms. Lexi has always known she wanted to be a teacher. Luckily for us, she chose to carry out her dream at Little Comets! Ms. Lexi has been one of our 2-year-old teachers since the beginning of 2024.
During her free time, you can find her playing at the park with her son, at car events with her family, or taking family walks with their dog!

Lead 4-Year-Old Teacher
Ms. Courtney
Ms. Courtney, an Illinois native and mom to 2 boys, joined us as our lead 4-year-old teacher in September of 2024. She studied Early Childhood Education and Psychology at McHenry County College and became a preschool teacher in 2004.​
Ms. Courtney says her most favorite thing to do is teach. When she's not teaching, she loves crafting, farmers markets, garage sales, and watching Disney movies with her family.

Lead Float & School-Age Teacher
Ms. Madison
Ms. Madison started working at Little Comets part-time during her junior year of high school. After graduating early in January 2025, she is now a full-time lead teacher. She's always enjoyed babysitting and spending time with her younger cousins and niece, so working with young children has become a passion of hers.

Madison is excited for her new journey as a lead teacher in our school-age wrap-around program and the summer camp program!

Lead 3-Year-Old Teacher
Ms. Riley
After spending her last 2 years of high school as our afternoon helper, Ms Riley joined us full-time as our lead 3-year-old teacher in 2025.

Ms. Riley found her passion for working with young children after becoming a big sister to 2 much younger little brothers. She is currently continuing her education in the early childhood field. When she's not working or in school, she enjoys spending time with her family, going on walks, and watching movies.

Lead Float Teacher
Ms. Emily
In early 2025, Ms. Emily became one of our lead float teachers. Since she was little, she always knew she wanted to work with young children.

During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going fishing, kayaking, and many more outdoor activities.

Assistant Teacher & Support Staff
Ms. Andie
Ms. Andie became an assistant teacher over the summer of 2025. During the school year, she attends Elkhorn High School, where she has taken all the required college courses to work in a childcare center. After a long day at school, she comes to work as one of our support staff members.

Assistant Teacher & Support Staff
Ms. Sarah
Ms. Sarah, also an Elkhorn High School student, joined our team during the summer of 2025. She obtained the necessary childcare certifications through school and works part-time during the school year as a support staff member.

In between school and work, Ms. Sarah is also a part of FFA and 4H. Her free time is usually spent caring for her many horses and training for her next barrel race!

Assistant Toddler Teacher
Ms. Brenda
In early 2025, Ms. Brenda and her family moved down from northern Wisconsin. She currently works alongside our toddler teacher as an assistant, while also pursuing a degree in Business.

Ms. Brenda is very family-oriented and enjoys spending her free time with family!

Lead Float Teacher
Ms. Kaylee
Ms. Kaylee has been working in early childcare for a few years and has recently joined us in late 2025 as one of our lead float teachers. A role Ms. Kaylee has always taken pride in is "big sister". She believes it is what helped develop her strong passion for wanting to care for children.
Some of Ms. Kaylee's favorite things to do are baking, painting, and hiking, but most importantly, spending time with her sweet little boy and corgi named Maple!

Assistant Float Teacher
Ms. Jade
Ms. Jade is currently in college to be a medical assistant and is using this time to be able to pursue her love for working with children. She really enjoys being able to be a part of their growth and watching their personalities start to shine!

When Ms. Jade is not in school or working, she enjoys going for walks and shopping.
