Our Earth room is for children ages 3.5 to 5 years old. It is our teacher's goal to get the children ready for their upcoming journey to 4K or Kindergarten! Every month their class will focus on a different color and shape in the hopes to have them mastered by the end of the school-year. The children will also be introduced to a different number (1-20) and letter weekly which will include both counting and phonics practice. A guided craft and activity is planned daily following our center's weekly themes. We of course focus greatly on large motor skills in and outside of the classroom, but especially on their fine motor skills to help strengthen their little hands for writing, scissor use, glue practice, and more, to help set them up for success in elementary school.

This classroom is a potty independent room, which means children must be able to identify when they need to use the restroom, remove their clothing, clean themselves, and be able to wash their hands, all with little to no assistance.
